This beachfront resort was acquired and renovated in a joint venture with Lehman Brothers. Subsequent improvements included building 27 new cabana apartment units. Equinox Hospitality operated the hotel initially as a Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort and then as the Aloha Beach Resort Kauai.
